Hi everyone
Spring has well and truly sprung. We know this because every single morning this week, ‘Charlie’ the chaffinch (as we’ve lovingly named him) has been bashing his beak against the window like a nutter, trying to defend his territory from his own reflection. It’s adorable for the first five minutes and then quickly becomes VERY annoying! He’s a beautiful bird but any suggestions on how to get him to stop rapping on our window would be most welcome. Even our office teddy bear Barnaby has been no use in scaring him away. We were at least impressed with the fact that Murray instantly recognised it as a chaffinch and was also there to catch a huge Bee that tried to invade the office on Tuesday. Better watch your back Attenborough…
Another sign of spring is that we’ve been giving the office a little tidy up (well.. alright… Mandy has been tidying up… we provided moral support) and finally the piles of canal grit are gone from under our wheelie chairs. Hooray! And all the wonderous items of joy that live in the office have been categorised into different tubs. There’s usually one or two of our Gadgets that come in handy for spring cleaning as well. I get the crumbs out of my keyboard with a miniscule hand vaccuum cleaner and a tiny hippo keeps my desk free from clutter. That’s just the way it goes around here.
Anyway I’ve got an early finish today so I’m off out to enjoy the sunshine. I know you can’t see my smug face but rest assured, it’s pretty smug. We’ll catch up with you again on Friday for some Sporcle challenge action. Stay tuned!
