On to Sporcle! First up, we played “Name The Things From The Star Wars Movies”, and in a very strong showing Sam scored 19/20. Mandy isn’t quite as geeky as Sam or I, so she scored a 9 that was disappointing in quiz context but much more impressive in the coolness stakes. Despite Sam’s valiant effort, I scored the full 20/20 to score the victory.

Quiz two was heavily Sam-biased, asking whether 50 quotes were from Star Wars (which we’ve all seen) or Spaceballs (which I’ve never seen). Mandy scored a pretty good 38/50 but was just beaten by Sam’s very solid 40. However, in a show of heroism that Han Solo himself would be proud of, I pipped him to the post with 41.

3^rd: Mandy “The Supreme Quizzing Machine” Evans – 3 points + 1 game in hand
