Who do you think you are?

I’m Murray, the new butler at Gadget Manor, ruggedly handsome yet boyishly charming. Kinda like a young Harrison Ford. I’m here for all your needs, feedback and general customer service. Got a problem? I’m your man! Or at least, I will be once I’ve been here for more than two days. Once I’ve settled into my new digs in the servants quarters, I’ll be available to answer all your questions and queries.

What do you get up to outside of work?

Just like Sam, I sing in a touring UK rock band called The Indegenerates, specialising in girlishly high-pitched pop-punk. When I’m not musicing, you’ll find me playing football as a 5’7 “big man up front” or watching my beloved Tottenham Hotspur, who I spend probably 80% of my waking life thinking about. Sad? You betcha.

What do you watch on the box?

Outside of the football addiction, I’m partial to a bit of Joss Whedon, be it Buffy, Firefly or Dollhouse, as well as an embarrassing love of Gilmore Girls. If you want a bit more outside the box, I recommend Castle, starring Nathan Fillion.

Who’s your childhood hero?

In yet another damning indictement of my personality, I’ve always been partial to a spot of Bon Jovi, specifically guitarist Richie Sambora. I’m really not coming across as “cool” here, am I? Sambora is the reason I started playing guitar, the reason I own my pride and joy (an arctic-white Fender stratocaster), and he’s also the coolest cowboy on the planet.

Where would you most like to travel?

Antarctica. I’ve been to South America, North America, and plan to visit Asia and Australasia in the next year, then it’s onto the Great White South.
