Hi my name is Mandy and I’m the MD for Gadgets.co.uk.

I joined Gadgets as General Manager a little over three years ago having previously worked for their then sister company Mobiles.co.uk. Having spent a couple of years learning the business inside and out I went on to become Managing Director.

Although my main role is to manage the day to day functions of the business I still enjoy getting stuck into the routine daily tasks when needed. Quite often you’ll find me testing out the new gadgets, writing the odd blog post and if you need to ring in you could well be speaking to me! 

When I’m not in the office I like to spend my time being active. I enjoy getting out and about exploring the countryside either by foot or mountain bike as well as meeting up with a few friends for a spot of climbing. I have a passion for slightly more extreme activities, I’ve been lucky enough to try out Hydro Speeding, Via Ferrrata and have a ride in a bobsleigh on the Cresta Run in the past few years.

As well as my adventurous side I also have a creative side, I love to make and create things whether it’s in the kitchen or with stuff I find or have lying around. My last project was a three tier cake stand which I made out of a set of old plates from a charity shop. My next task will be test out some of the baking product we sell to fill the cake stand!
