We Wish You A Merry Christmas!

Wednesday, December 22nd, 2010

Well it’s certainly looking very Christmassy out of the windows here at Gadgets Towers, what with the lingering snow still lying around outside. We’re getting into the Christmas spirit finally and have been enjoying all those classic Christmas songs, as well as some of the more less Christmas songs that seem to pop up every now and then. Today is the last day for us to be here at Gadgets Towers until after Christmas, with both myself and Mandy headed off to our respective families for Christmas.

From all of us here at Gadgets.co.uk please let me wish one and all a very merry Christmas, and hope that you all get everything you wish for as well as a fantastic holiday period.

A Ray Of Sunshine At Gadgets Towers

Friday, December 3rd, 2010

The snow is still here, and although we had a little fall and settle yesterday, about 2-3 inches, we’ve still avoided the majority of it at Gadgets Towers. Despite the weather the new items are still arriving with the My Butterfly jars being possibly the most interesting of our new additions.

This whimsical little gadget lets you keep a colourful butterfly in a jar, responding and fluttering around to your touch, giving us all a timely reminder of the summer. Of course it isn’t a real butterfly, but you’ll have to look pretty close to be sure! Simply tap your finger on the lid of the jar and the Butterfly inside will fly around inside the jar or flutter its wings. The My Butterfly Jars come in one of four colourful and vibrant variations that are sure to bring a ray of sunshine to even these cold winter days we are currently experiencing!

Of course the snow and the cold, although very serious for some can be great fun whether it be snow ball fights, sledging, or making snowmen. One woman apparently put so much effort into making hers that she thought it very serious when it was apparently stolen from outside her house! We’d like to think that rather than theft, this snowman was more of a modern day Frosty or The Snowman, simply coming to life and wandering off into the winter wonderland by himself.

I’m braving the conditions and travelling to Cardiff for the weekend, here’s hoping that you all stay warm!

Let It Snow!

Wednesday, December 1st, 2010

Wow! I can only imagine what it must be like at Santa’s workshop at this time of year, but I’d have to say that Gadgets Towers is probably coming about as close as you can get, because boy has it been busy here! The phones have been ringing, the orders have been flying in in their hundreds, and the HUGE deliveries of stock have been zooming back out of our warehouse nearly as quickly as they have been arriving.

Bizarrely Gadgets Towers seems to be located in about the only place that, as of yet, hasn’t been hit by the snow. It’s cold, it’s windy, and it’s getting dark early, but no snow! With the weather reports saying that the cold is set continue for a couple of weeks yet we’re all hoping here that we might get a white Christmas, and surely we can’t avoid being bitten by a blizzard for much longer?

Of course, other than a good snowball fight, or going sledging the place to be is undoubtedly inside in the warm. In a bid to keep cosy why not look to one of our very own Winter Wonders? Mandy has been finding The Slanket a great aid in keeping warm here in the office!

Wherever you are and how ever much snow you might have, here’s hoping you all stay warm and safe.
